In the name of Mini Fashionista Friday – I present my first submission; the pink velvet sweater-vest …thing.

The year should be about…1980…ish. This is an example of my fun and business look. I think my Mom liked to dress me up as a 1970’s sassy lawyer sometimes. Little pant-suits and little sweater-sets – this was dressing up for her. I was a little farm girl who actually said to my Mom, “why can’t you put me in more dresses?!?”
And so, here I am in a cousin’s portrait (I cut out my cousin Paul and Niki, I saved the internet from their sweater-vests…your welcome).
This is the beginning of something here…don’t you see? Although my Mom dodged the frilly dress, she made a decision that effected my love of colour. Look at the pink…look at my glee and wonderment.
You are definitely still in the running towards becoming the eighties next top toddler.
